Missing Person: Bianca Lily Jones, Female, Detroit, Date of Birth: 11/26/2009, Bianca was last seen in the area of John R North of East Grand Boulevard when her father, D’Andre Lane, said he was carjacked by two unknown black males. His 2004 Silver Grand Marquis was located a short time later with Bianca missing from her car seat. Police and about 1,100 residents conducted a weeklong search for the child.Banika Jones, the girl’s mother, said that she last saw her daughter November 26, when family and friends celebrated her birthday. Jones said Lane had taken Bianca to see a movie, brought her back to her mother’s house for the party and then the girl left with her father.Investigators soon became skeptical and questioned Lane’s credibility. He was convicted of first-degree murder in October 2012 after prosecutors said the carjacking was a lie to cover up Bianca’s death.
